Relationships
Humans are social creatures. We live in various relationships with other people, whether that be in our families, with co-workers, or with our friends. Relationships enhance our lives, however, we will inevitably come across times in our lives when we are challenged by some of our relationships. All of this has an impact on our health. Working with a health coach will include the opportunity to examine some of the major relationships in your life and help you approach them from an empowered place. By cultivating more meaningful relationships in your life, you are positively contributing to your overall quality of life.

Meditation
Meditation practices are becoming increasingly popular in the Western part of the world. However, meditation has been practiced for thousands of years in other parts of the world. Neuroscience is now proving the benefits of meditation on our psychological well-being. There are many different kinds of meditation practices that go beyond what we might assume meditation to be, including meditations with movement, guidance, and relaxation - just to name a few!

Creativity
This is a big one that is often overlooked! Just like meditation is more than sitting in a cross-legged position in a quiet room, creativity is more than painting. I found my creativity in photography, and know other people have found theirs with cooking, writing, or graphic design - just to name a few. At it’s roots, creativity is about what you create. Sometimes this is different than tangible items we see in art galleries. What are you creating? Better yet, what do you want to create? Creative hobbies have been associated with reduced memory loss and increased overall life satisfaction. Incorporate creativity into your life and you’ll see how vibrant it becomes.
